Battery Setup:
2 x Li-Ion RCR123 Rechargeable Cells
Lamps:
ES-9, SR-9, HO-9, EO-9
The compact 2 cell rechargeable setup.
We do not really recommend this setup on HO-9 and EO-9 lamps as the RCR123 cells cannot provide the power needed to push these lamps to the optimum output. The capacity in the RCR123 cells are not very high, causing a low runtime.
It is an acceptable setup using ES-9 and SR-9 however, but we would still recommend the 1 x 18650 with HO-4 or EO-4 setup rather then using the ES-9 or SR-9 with 2 x RCR123 batteries.

Although the 18500 cells are not that common, the size is ideal for a 2 cell setup either on the SP-6 with the added extender or the SP-9 by itself.
Using the SP-6 with an extender also gives the user a choice where they can use the SP-6 as standalone or with an extender.
The 2 x 18500 cells also provide good runtime and power even when using HO-9 or EO-9 lamps.
